Heres what I do anyway, its free and simple plus they work well. Just find a few nice bushes of hazel, look for the straight sticks and cut them off at the base. Cut the sticks down to 18 inches long. Dont cut them all from one bush. I then put a slit into the fat end and a blunt point on the other. Your snare will sit in the split nicely, and if you want to make sure there held tightly then just whip a bit of garden wire around the split end using pliers to tighten. Just a tip (if your new to snaring), make sure your up to date with current legislation and codes of good practice. Hope this helps DNN Quote Link to post
