tote 856
Either lower the height of the ceiling or put a false ceiling over her bed area. Make it low enough so that she has to crawl into her bed and can't stand up when she's inside. I've done this in the past and it has always worked,as long as the ceiling is low enough. picardy 1
What time do you lock her in at? because you would be very surprised how many dogs hold it in all night and piss in the morning so if your leaving the dog in there for a long period of time can you blame it ? a way i stoped them from doing it is if you make a sleeping box and put the bed high up like a bench where the she has to jump up they will always come down to piss! Hi the kennel i keep my bitch in is a kennel with a run built into it so she has a free run in and out of her kennel.Have been thinking about what you said about the shelf though sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the reply Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
Try putting a handful of straw or shavings in the run: many dogs don't like pissing on hard surfaces, or non absorbant surfaces like concrete. I know it makes more mess in the run, but believe me, it usually works a treat. Quote Link to post
