Guest Frank
Cheers. Whats the downfall of poaching? I got cought here in the past a few times, most of the time the farmers tell you to get off or the odd cop comes and says dont do it again ect, but no court cases, unlesss your cought with a deer, or hare, other game as hares have a season over here. inan 841
How do you folks in the uk, find getting permission to lamp ect with your lurchers, whippets, from farmers/landowners?How easy or hard is it? Very difficult due to some like the poster just below you, people might have a different attitude to poaching someone elses permission if it happened to them.We are hanging in there fighting the ban all the way and we have to contend with people inside our sport just to make it harder. It took me years of knocking on doors and many refusals ,before I built up my patch ,then you get dummies just decide to turn up ,sometimes they dont even walk the ground ,just drive around in a 4x4.But then they arent field sports people imo. Stevebeno 0
Its something i have never been able to understand. Rabbits killing crops digging holes all in the fields buggering hedgerows, pigeons destroying crops, foxes killing lambs and chickens yet land owners and farmers dont allow us to shoot the land and help them out.weird..! Its annoying tho because these guys or the farmers dont do much i dont know many around here who have the time resources and eagerness to get out there and get the job done week in week out..!
