Hello to all,

 

I am a coyote hunter from South Dakota USA, and I am looking for deerhound blood from coursing blood lines to add to my line.I was wanting any information on good Deerhound lines for hunting fast, hard game as well as cost of pups and cost of importation to the U.S.

Yip Mackem, Gary did import some from me, originally to course, and breed dogs to take coyotes, but Joi his wife took one of them to AKC Champion in the show ring..there was a dog went over to another owner at the same time, but I think that was only shown too. Some of the best coursing individual dogs now are in Ireland, and some really keen boys to keep them going for a while.

i might have what what your looking for i have 6 deerhound pups 2 weeks old working lines of course wit alot of doxhope blood in them a freind of mine has sent similar lines to the states and got on very well on coyote i can get phone numbers/email of the people that have these hounds i think our hounds have stayed true to the breed type of old here some of mine

Pictures Shanehound....arent you the smart one.I have seen the dam of the above mentioned pups at work,She is no slouch and lacks nothing in any department.The sire is a hell of a dog,even though hes pushing on now hes still well able to perform.It was an education to see these dogs run out on any game,big brave and unstopable when on their quarry.
