It teaches them to run turn and stop and change gear.Dont be in a hurry to start serious work it could cause injuries that will hold him back or finish the pup for good especially if he is a three quarter greyhound. You should class youre dog as a puppy until he is two years old. thats mentally as well as physically. A running dog should not do serious running work (that is chasing and desperatley trying to catch) until its at least 15 months old because it hasnt yet developed. tendons are not fixed to bone. bone hasnt finished growing etc. Plenty of day time walks are best. Let him gallop and have fun while you get to know him. Quote Link to post
