He is a half brother to Top Honcho who was possibly the best stud dog of recent times.

was just looking at the top honcho dog on there now im way out of my depth where track dogs are concerned but how does a dog thats only had 3 races one win get to breed???

ive heard the name used often but looking it up expected to see some immpressive list of wins/times etc. cheers.

he did race more times than that if you look at a number of the top dogs they only list certain races, anyway track dogs often breed based on bloodlines and known nicks between certain strains this is especially the case with brood bitches some never even reach the track. anyway back to the original question didnt really understand it if you word it different prob can help when it comes to greyhounds.

Regardless of how many races Top Honcho has raced or won there is no desputing his record for siring top class dogs. A dog don't get to be Champion UK sire 2001 through to 2007 and champion Irish sire 2002 through to 2007 for nothing. He sired Droopys Scholes http://greyhound-data.com/d?i=671218 Who i have a bitch from, Just take a look at his race stats, very impresive.

If mentioning his top offspring think you should start with droopys vieri (a top stud in his own right) and tyrur ted( an awesome racer who still won big in his later years)
