:( No. I'd realised as soon as I'd said that; There's none of the usual heavier debris about the nest. The down's grayer. We haven't much to scale on, but I'm wondering about a goose. Only I can't for the life of me think of a british breeding goose beyond the Canada. I believe ye have Graylags?

 

Only other possibility I can come up with is GCG. But please don't bother to respond to my ponderings. Let others have a good crack at it without us working a process of elimination for them ;)

Was a bloody Canada then? :D Come to think of it; Aren't they about the only wild goose to actually nest in england? I think proper, wild Gray's are only to be found north of the border.
