I have a sound moderator to buy on my FAC.

I have a 22/250 rifle at the moment and am going to buy a 25.06 shortly.

Will a moderator fit both - i.e. the same one - or would i need to get a different one for each riflr?

I thought it would be one for each however i have read some contradictory reports and want a definitive answer.

Cheers.

personally david two mods are the way to go, you could get a bigger mod to suit the 25-06 but it would be big for the 22-250, and would not do the job well, plus you would have to change the mod bushing's for each rifle as the barrel countours will be different on both rifles..........so :laugh: start saving

the smallest mod bore i believe you can buy is .25 so a 25-06 and 22cf bullet will go down both. the best you can get for a 22cf is .25 so if you'd said a 308 and 22cf then yes 2 mods would be i deal

I share a stealth between a 243 and a 222, i have 2 bushes and because(this is the important bit) the threadng is good and done by a good gunsmith i can change the mod as many times as i like without losing zero, not even a little bit. the main points on the threading is the same size thread on both rifles, both threads have to be undercut so it effectively starts to come off the thread before hitting the shoulder of the barrel thus giving you an exact locking point time and time again with out the amount you twist it or pressure on it affecting the position
