Tiny 0
Hello there I am 17 years old never hunted or trapped anything in my life, although I have fished abit. Ive had for a long time now the urge to start hunting because all my life Ive eaten meat killed and in most cases purpose reared by someone else and it just wouldnt sit right with me if I spent the rest of my life doing the same. Cant think of much else to say right so I'll look forward to speaking to and learning from you all.

Tiny 0
Thankyou, I am finding so much interesting information during the short time I've spent looking through this site. I am hoping to buy my first air rifle soon, once I have decided on a low-budget setup which is perfectly capable of humanely killing grey squirrels, the more I read about them and thier effect on the native red squirrel the greater the feeling to go out and dispatch of some grows. After buying, and becoming profecient with an air rifle, the only problem I see would be finding suitable land and permission to shoot locally, which was one of the reasons why I joined this forum. I hope to find landowners from in and around Nottinghamshire, as at the moment I have not one link to the hunting world so to speak. Add to this a reputable air rifle dealer in my vincinity seeing as the new airgun laws prevent me from buying one over the internetr. Eventually I hope to hunt deer, boar, rabbit and more using rifles or shotguns so that I can cook them in the traditional way, a long standing dream of mine. Like I said before I look forward to talking more and more and sharing my experiences as and when I expericence them
