I'm in Scotland if it makes a differnce If you have a closed FAC then yes you can only shoot where the land has been approved. If you want to shoot somewhere new then you need to contact your Licensing Dept and ask if the land is approved, if yes, great, if not then an FEO will have to inspect and pass the land first. SportingShooter 0 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 Normally you would get it on first renewal, unless you have deer on your cert and then it would be open, sometimes it can be done earlier if you can prove to them an open is more beneficial to them aswell as you.
