Stealth moderators

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used them. I need a moderator for my 700 Remington in .308. I was thinking of a T8 but these seem to be better all round. Are they as effective though ?

The T8 is a great Mod, thats why we all know it, and it works quite well, problem is build quality/materials; I know what these are like and what they sound like as I have used them, but I have not used the Stealth! Hearsay suggests the build quality is better than a T8 but at around £100 more it should be.

If you are after a mod around this shape and size think about the Wildcat Predator 8 as well, around £215.

I have a stealth, and its excellent absolutely great compared to the T8, i will never own a t8 again, stealths are quieter, they don't ring after, which mild steel does, being stainless its not gonna rust, you can replace individual parts, so cheaper to maintain, all these things are much like a predator but the real winner for the stealth over the predator is the predator threads to screw together are part of each section, an internal thread, this will get full of crap and probably seixe the stealth has 3 rods running through it with a nut on the end of each completely outside the mod(although recessed) no seizing there, i've fired it on 243 and 222 had aroung 150 rounds through it and no probs yet!!!!

You can call the guy who makes them, very informative and takes the time to chat to you!!

I have shot a fox 30yards from a roe, killed the fox the roe looked up but then carried on grazing!!!
