richie 1 Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 i now know whats its about ! i got the chance to take a bloke out with me on my patch to fly his female harris hawk. unreal feeling ! i had it come to me 5 or 6 times, the first time i thought it was going to knock me hard untill the last second when it flared off & gently landed on me. im definately going to be trying it again. sorry no pictures, didnt have a camera with me. rich Quote Link to post

richie 1 Posted April 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 Brilliant stuff.. .. get out with that fellow through out the season and you will learn a lot more hand's on experience than any book will learn you..aslong as he know's what he is doing..Millet i would do, but he lives in cheshire. i met him whilst he was down doing the BPCA course withh me. i was concidering going on a course with a recognized organization. the good thing is my Mrs is keen to get started aswell, not for the hunting side of things, but just to get out & fly. rich Quote Link to post
