SMOGGY 34
hi mate, you want to go out when its real windy and cloudy to cover the moon or even better when theres no moon, rain helps as well it stops any noise traveling, but alway walk with the wind in your face so the rabbits cant smell you. goo luck Quote Link to post

stone-cold 0
go out 1 hour after dark, dont wear noisy clothing ie waterproofs, when your out in the fields walking in that stuff its a warning signal. dont take anything that rattles like keys,if you have to,soundproof it in some way. forget full moons,to them youre a big walking tree. always whisper, never rush around. stay out of the lamp light, cuff your hand around so you dont illuminate your mate(if you take one) it was said before, cloudy nights or when there is no moon are best, especially when its windy as they cant see you and they cant hear you,but only if you face the wind because if you dont they will wind you(scent you) you will learn as you go along, you cant beat experience Quote Link to post

stone-cold 0
and another, dont shine over gates, climb over and walk thirty yards then have a shine,i use a semi-auto so wind strength dont really matter, you will be using an air rifle so you got to allow for the wind taking your shot off target so dont get pissed off if you dont hit anything, you just got to get to know your gun. hope this helps you get some good bags Quote Link to post
moses 5
altough i am new to the sport when using an air rifle it pays to set up camp where you know there will be bunnies stay still and quiet you can take one after another this way without disturbing anything. the key to it is learn your gun once you know what it can do you will get better and better walk your quarry just before dark and learn the runs, find out where they feed that way you dont waste your night searching for them you already know where theyll be Quote Link to post
