boots, my old white bitch was 16 month befor her first dig her mam was two years old befor she started, you try to rush a young dog and you can knock them off for a while the same as selling a young dog to some 1 you have to let them settle in befor, they have to trust you , i dont like writing a dog off and will give it as much time as i can, i had a jack price bred bitch a few years back had her out for two season off the lead out digging all the time ( was not at work then )the bitch was two years old when i got her at the end of the first season i phone jack up told him how she was bred and he said thats right asked me if she would kill chickens and i said yes plus the bitch would fly in at the end of a dig,i kept the bitch for another full season hopeing she would come good as i wanted her as an out x but she never did make it so i parted with her to a pet home, i got mucks litter sister back off a man and he had had tow litters of pups out of her befor she was 18 months old 16 pup all together and the bitch had not dun a stroke of work ,ive had her back about 9 months now and she is comeing on ok ,not the fast bitch but shes getting there now and i will say i had my doubt about her to that why now i will only let my pups go to working homes, years of breeding and some people can f--k it up right good .anyway boots keep up the good work keep digging and i will meat you 1 day ,thinking of going to waterford show this year to meat all you lads thats if its still going.

BOOTS, big Sam's brother had a couple of pups from A Nixon at around that time. Apparently they were dynamite. Unfortunately both were dead before they were 2yrs old but he couldn't fault them.
