Another fine brand of scope, go to a shop is your best bet and have a look through all the prospective ones.

I quite agree John, I have shot through one on the lamp and it is an excellent scope, I nearly bought one for the .222, but I got tempted away by the FAD of a new Swarovski. As you said in another post, spend as much as you can't afford on a new scope.

Either of these makes will do you well.

I would always go for variable, personal choice perhaps but it will give you a choice of how YOU want your target to be presented, whether close or far.
