I posted last week about getting a left handed AIR ARMS S410 carbine picked it up friday went down to the plinking range what a disaster couldn't shoot with both eyes open had to close my dominat right eye, if I kept both eyes open could'nt see through the scope oh shi-, well only one answer go back to the gun shop and buy another gun this time right handed thumstock classic ,now sunday haven't tried it yet , stripped both down to wax and seal the stocks, had to make my own gunstock wax,

from my own recipe, bees wax, white wax polish, walnut oil, meths, turpentine substitute, white knotting. boiled linseed oil, still don't know if they are A/T, well here's the pics.

so here are the pics

Still a nice pair of rifles, does AA not produce a ambidexterous (not sure how to spell that one) stock?, or could you not have one made as I can see you take your shooting very seriously. If you are set on keeping both of them prehaps splashing out on something like a "Gary Cane" stock as he does a stunning "Desert Storm" one for the S410.

Did shoot the left handed stock but in a shop it's different to in the field, any way if I can convince me old lady it will make me happy to buy a right hand gun stock, why should i up set her, never looked at an ambdextrioues ? if I did how would i convince her I needed another gun mate! on a more seriouse note I will try to get time, (this is a big one) and make a new stock. Need to apply more polish t o the stocks. Will let you know how the finish progresses.
