first bunnies

Hey guys,

 

As some of you know I got my ferrets last week and went for my firts run on the weekend. I had been before with the bloke I got them of, but this was my first go by myself. Bolted 6 but lost 4, seems I have a bit to learn about netting burrows. Also it allowed my whippet pup to have a look.

nice going mate you will catch on \the ferreting biz soon. what part of australia are you ferreting in? im in victoria geelong.

good try ,your nets are too stretched not enough bagging in them and put more down on the ground so the rabbits run into them and not under,keep it up

Thanks for the advice sue, That photo isnt great but I put a good 12'' of net in the burrow along the ground so the rabbit has to run into them, but I think you are right about them being to stretched.
