What's this Hopkins like? I don't think I've ever seen one of his fights.

he WAS Excellent but i dont know what hes like now, he might be passed it now, but he looks in shape, i think it will be a close fight.

Very defense hopkins is joe is risking a lot for very little if he beats hopkins which is expected the yanks will say hopkins was past it anyway pavel kelly is the man in the middleweigh now state side even do this is a lightheavy weight fight . I think joe s attacking style will be to much can t wait do.

its gonna be close, calzaghe's the younger fighter at 37 which will be a factor, first time outa the uk,can he handle it in the u.s?i think he'll be fine he's proved what he can do and after the fine performance against mikkel kessler will be confident of a win

hopkins is a living legend and i believe he's only fought outsideb the u.s once which he lost,he's now 44(i think) has age caught up with him?i think it has

good referee is vital,im sure its joe cortez(been around for a very long time) and good judges needed because i can see it going the distance and a win for calzaghe.

and i hope he retires after as the best undefeated fighter britains ever seen(should say wales,as hes a proud welshman) :boxing::drink:

i think you may be right, but i wouldnt totally discount hopkins, i agree he a bit past it, but he could still do damage.

but at the end of the day, i think calzaghe got the edge.

i know he wont do it in first round thats just what i want to happen :whistling:

it will probably go to points, or calzaghe might get a knockout on the late rounds.

I like them both, but think Calzaghe will win. It may be tricky at times, and the fact Joe is going into the lions den and fighting the co promoter of the show in his own back yard is a big RISK...

Hopkins, he talks a good fight - but that's all it is, talk.

Hopkins is a great boxer and you have to respect him for still being at the top of his game at 43

We've all seen great fighters get outclassed towards the end of their career and I have a strong feeling that it's Hopkins turn this weekend.
