spike 0
Same here abley I also agree with parts of what bill & gnasher have said I like Calzaghe; always gives his all & is a good boxer. He can be a "slappy" puncher though - not sure that'll matter tonight. If it's close at the end I would expect Hopkins to get the decision as the yanks very rarely lose on points at home' it may not get that far as Hopkins is an expert at fighting dirty inside.I hope a cut doesn't finish it. I hope Joe wins, if he does I think rounds 9-10 (I'm not staying up for nothing)

gnasher16 30,146
Its worth remembering.....an american fighting in les vegas....with 3 las vegas judges !!...in a fight very likely to go the distance..... Also, hopkins has brought in freddie roach,a brilliant trainer tactically...... End of his career or not this will be a great victory for calzaghe........im picking a points win for hopkins....maybe a controversial one.
abley 0
Nah spike, if it goes as far as 9 or 10 its JOes fight. Honestly cant see Hopkins having the stamina to do Calzaghe that late in the night. I'd like to see it go the same as the Kessler fight: a 12 round boxing lesson from the lad from the valleys! Dont think Hopkins will let that happen though, he'll be up for a war tonight. He's just going to keep out the way of the big right hand, and not get caught early. I'd like to hear a true neutrals opinion about tonight. Its hard not to let your heart sway your judgement. Am sticking with Calzaghe on points though.

I'd love to see JC outclass Hopkins, but that won't happen, so how to beat him? Stamina could be the key, save for underhand tactics from Hopkins on the inside. The only other concern I have is that I'm drinking my beer too quickly

I've never used this: http://footyonline.tv/ But it's a link from elsewhere that is spot on for the footy apparently. It is a pay site but I understand it is a good stream, as I say I can't vouch as I've never used it. I think you have outfoxed me , had my first drink around half seven

spike 0
I think Fraudley won by sending his opponent to sleep. There's no way that fella should have been in the same ring & yet Harrison makes it look hard work. 3 rounds to throw a (poor) combination. For such a big man his punches seem to lack any power or conviction. Anyhow, on to the main course Come on Joe
