Guest pip Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 (edited) If it keeps coming it may need a few antibiotics,the discharge can sometimes be the dead white cells from fighting an infection.Or just might be a draft.Try and get Aeromycin antibiotic powder can be applied to the eyball direct,also under PEP pink eye powder. redmoor 0 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 It sounds like conjunctivitis, but foreign bodies in the eye can produce the same discharge, have a good look at the eye under a light to make sure there is nothing in the cornea. Is the conjunctiva red and inflamed? For true conjuctivitis Maxitrol is the best thing to use..this wouldnt be safe if there was a foreign body in the eye though as it contains steroid to reduce inflammation. Fucithalmic is then the best ointment to use. Quote Link to post
