WILF is right, how much do people on here actually want to prove that they have killed. The majority of people who genuinely use this site will know when things dont add up. The pictures which are posted on this site are asking to be used by the anti's who will change them to show things in their favour.

As we post this and continue to post pictures of sometimes dubious acts on here, the anti's could be preparing a case file for use against all aspects of our sport.

Shouting F**K the Ban and then following it up with evidence to prove the ban is being ignored is just aiding them further.

And as for giving the Mods a hard time when they use their discretion to remove posts which show illegal acts, they have a job to do in respect of keeping this site going for the benefit of those members who use this site to gain and share knowledge and information. Popular revolt against a law is not going to get it changed as the process provides the opposition with enough evidence to counter every argument which is put forward.

As the saying goes a picture says a thousand words, think of it the other way around a dubious picture puts another nail in the coffin of fieldsports. A carefully written piece on your activities will be of benefit to all as well as a good read.

It really does make me wonder..... topics such as show us pics of your terriers after this seasons work, what quarry have you run pre-ban

We are being monitored by who knows... maybe a National newspaper is collecting all the lovely pics that have been posted.. get them all on a four pager, that will make the nation wake up.... yeah keep saying f**k the antis, it's gonna bite us on the arse....

I wholehartedly agree that we all need to be extra cautious about what we post thesedays.

But I started the thread on- 'Lets see the terriers after after a good season'. I dont see the problem with that. Now maybe I should have thaught a little harder about it before I did it, but its a legal form of pest control and is something I am called upon to undertake on a regular basis. It is a necessary past-time/job that we do and hope to be doing for ever more, the last thing that I wanted to do is jepordise its safety as a lagal form of pest control.

But surely as Moderators, you lot should be able to be as strict as you need to be, and delete posts that can insinuate hidden meanings, like what mole catcher said.

But the whole point of the site is for hunters to be able to share stories and pictures with others. And if we cant do that then its pretty much knackered.

Thats fine nothing wrong in that what so ever!! but I think you'll find 99% of the 9000 members on this forum do that already.

 

A vast Majority of the work the Mods seem to do lately is tidy up Posts/Pictures that are Illigal and detremental to the forum, in the years I have been on this site I havn't seen anything like it even pre ban.

 

Its not the Majority just a small Minority who have taken it on themselves to try and drag the forum down! Just looking at some posts/pic's makes it obviouse to me that many are not what they seem and probably not Hunting folk either! they tacticly move in to infiltrate the site with Illigal material to give authority ammunition to come down on us....

 

There's a few we're onto!! Our Undercover stealth comrades are on their cases as we speak .....

You are missing the point Fishy...the "crime" has invariably already happened. The Agent Provocateur is encouraging you to incriminate yourself by posting the pics, which will then be used as evidence against us.

Am i picking this up right, not meaning you dogs and natives, but the A.P. being someone who asks show us your terriers lurchers, draw dogs etc, or can we fight the ban, or f**k the ban ,show us youre bullxs, then obtaining pics etc and using them for ANOTHER PURPOSE. Yes, their aim is to get photos of illegal activities so they can publish them elsewhere to hurt all types of hunting. Remember member Guevara? He's posted on the A.L.F. website.

 

These people are REAL folks, this isn't some type of wind up. If people keep putting up illegal photos and accounts you're nailing the lid shut on all hunting with dogs for GOOD. It's just a matter of time.

 

That also goes for any illegal shooting or other activities.

pictures are not incriminating evidence,a picture is just a minute in time and in fact sayes very little,a conviction is impossible without corroberating evidence, ie witnesses etc for example takre this pic ture of mine ,at first sight it appears to be a wild life crime:

 

 

but look at the picture be fore editing and you will see its compleately staged in my front garden with a road kill bird!

 

 

so my advice guys is post what you want ,within your forums rules, as nothing can or will be done by the wildlife crimes police or the RSPCA.

It's not always about convictions as they use crap like that to turn public opinion and it's all taken out of context. You ever seen the Digging Out website? They use pictures of lads digging badgers in Germany...where it's perfectly legal...and insinuate the pics were taken here.
