Another permission

Me and my mate went to see his grandads two feilds today that he only just told me about!! Awsome, saw a few crows hovering about so we hope to get a few of them next time. My friend has just bought a AA S200 MK3 today and we just spent a few hours zeroing and target shooting. So I will post some pics of how we get on next weekend!

nice work mate..........good luck at the weekend...........i got another permission last week..good feeling isn't it..........cant beat being out with your weapon in hand ( no no no you pervs) your GUN!!!!!

 

i shoot a solo in .22 personally i think its very underated gun.....bloody accurate!!!

hiya buds,nice looking guns,just be sure when you zero the one in with the clip on bipod to remember,if you take a standing or kneeling shot your zero will be lower,as the clip on bipod raises your barrel slightly,when used as a rest,oki doki

I cant get my head round this comment :hmm:

 

Surely seeing as the scope is held at a set postion in relation to the scope, does it not make sence that this position is still the same regardless of standing kneeling or shooting off a rest. I know with springers its not due to the recoil.

The clip on bipod is fitted directly to the barrel, when used with the bipod the barrel will flex slightly so moving the point of impact higher. When the gun is shot without resting on the bipod the barrel will be straight so point of impact will be lower.

 

Moral of the story ... throw it away and buy a stock mounted one! :thumbs:
