richie 1
i like what you done with the sleeping quarters in the 3rd picture down, easy access hatches to clean out.. i wouldnt bother with that water bowl though ! they will turn that over in no time, place a few large water bottles inside. me personally, i would put one or two small windows covered with 1"x 1" mesh for a bit of light & fresh air. rich Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
i never bothered with caged windows as the weather is extremely shite most of the time up here , the water bowl is pretty heavy not had any problems but ill take the bottle idea into consideration . i dont know wether i had a electric light on a photodiode so when light levels are low the light in the court is off and when light levels are high then the court light is on ??? liam Quote Link to post
Scallywag 78
I'm about to get one built for myself and will be showing these pictures to the mate that's doing it for me. I've been told that ferrets like to lap water so that heavy bowls they can't upturn are a good idea? Have you put a tray of soil in there for them to dig in? (5th photo) How deep is it? lgray88 4
yeh theres a tray of soil there , its in a fish box so id say the soil it self is 3-4 inches deep Quote Link to post
