Guest BIG FRANK Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 hello i dont think they are recognized by the kennel club as there are so many strains my mum said the parsons russel terrier is reconized by the k c atb charlie THE PARSONS IS NOT RECOGNISED AS A BREED IF THIS WAS SO THERE WOULD BE OTHERS SUCH AS THE PLUMBER JACK RUSSALL THERE ARE TO MANY STRAINS TYPES ect.. AND GUYS YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE AND THIS TYPE OF DOG IS A GOOD FIRST DOG BUT REMEBER MATE THEY LAST FOR 10 TO 16 YEARS the parson russell terrier is recognized by the british kennel club the jack russell is recognized by the irish kennel club well i didnt know that lads thourght both were not recognized by the british kannal club my bad (you lern somthing new every day) Quote Link to post

SEAN3513 7 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 got an 8 year old bitch , still as keen and agile as she was at 12 months. who cares about pedigree and papers.......its the dog that matters ( when it comes to jr's) great with the kids and around the house. very intelligent dogs.......which can lead them to being a bit stubborn at times, but, put the time in and you will have a good dog................. theres no such thing as a bad dog...................but plenty of bad owners. good luck mate Quote Link to post
