Recommended Posts

Mine havnt gone in yet! I do have a greenhouse and use it for tomatoes but i also grow outside tomatoes, i have specifically outdoor tomato plants which are disease and frost resistant, they are in grow bags which i feed once a week to start and every two days when producing fruit.

Not too late yet, Sub Arctic Plenty are a good outdoor variety, a lad off here's wife put us on to them, good crop, very hardy.

An old gardener once told me April 17th was the best day to sow tomatoe seeds, where the f**k he got that date from I don't know, but it's always stuck in my head, mind ours have been in the greenhouse a fortnight now and started off in the propogator first.
