1 reason being where ever you put the dog he will find and stick to his game like any good terrier should but this dog stood out when others failed he was a baying/mixing type and often had to be carried back due to the amount of stick he took he is a little dog with a big heart it took him a fair while to bottle his stuff as he was small but when he had it you would be digging him out

WHATS THE BEST TERRIER YOU'VE SEEN WORK TO GROUND PIP ?????

The first black dog i had.Over 2 before he started had a brilliant nose,dug him up to 3 times a day stayed 13 1/2 hours once,killed in a dump when stuff bolted under a sheat of tin with concrete on top.64 digs in 2 1/2 seasons,thankfully stuff still out of him,of no particular breeding worth mentioning,except old nuttal on one side.Only one litter directly out of him 2 bitches killed at work 1 dog retired and 1 untraceable dog.

Best about it is the dog never let me down,i got him as a failure as he supposedly walked out at 10 monthes.I always expected him to quit just wasn t ready at 10 month .

1. when you showed the dog the hole her mood would change like it was her time of the month, she would find the quarry, stay with it, when we broke through she would mix it if it moved. Never a false mark, her baying would change pitch when she was up to the quarry and away from the work she was a great friend to have by your side.

my best terrier that i ever had was a tiny lakey x russell scruff. i got her off a lad who didnt want her cos she kept trying to go to groung and he wanted a bushing dog! a tiny little 11 pounder with the heart of a lion. she wasnt by any means a world beater but she was as honest as the day is long. she got killed on the roads a couple of years back and i still miss her.

as far as the best i,ve ever seen my mates little black bitch biddy has given us some outstanding preformances. we got a big dof fox this year with her that was squeezed in under a massive stack of onion crates, the size of a house. she had about 40 yards to worm her way to him and had about 4 inchs hight between the bottom of the pallets to the ground. for two hours she held him til we could get in to her. OUTSTANDING effort.
