i go out with jolong alot doing alot of bushing and lamping, we all use russels lakeys or lakeys/russels, to be honest mate iv also seen spaniels work an they can go if you get a good 1, also beagles are the bollux for bushing too nice and small with a good nose, but sumtimes too big for thick cover, what about a lakey/beagle? or russel/beagle? nice and small with a excellent nose you cant go wrong with that, might look like something out of saw 2 but i bet itll do an excellent job if brought up right :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

if you enjoy it and your dogs enjoy it then thats what its all about, there are lighter sides to terrier work and serious jobs to be done weather it be sheds full of rats to clear or foxes killing sheep or phesant to rid farmers and estates of.both the latter are terrier work sa thats the dog employed to do both jods.hence work??!! and a failed diggin dog may well not make a good ratter.thats pub talk!! as much as a failed ratter may make a good diggin dog, both are possable!
