How do all,

I had a little time to myself this morning and since it was calm I thought I'd take the MTC Viper off the Sako Quad .22lr and put on the new Leupold scope I got (Boone & Crockett reticle). Thanks a lot to Tulky and Grasshopper for putting me onto a real good deal on it too  I was putting Eley subs through the Quad. Two five shot groups after getting it on target. Pulled a shot in each group as I was too hot with a fecking great coat on, rained earlier wet grass.

Here are the results, 60 yards, dots are an inch, nothing spectacular but it'll do me nicely and I don't think the hoodies and magpies will like it either.

No problem with those groups whatsoever :clapper:

Have you tried any other subs apart from Eleys? I used to think they were the business then started buying different makes 50's until I settled on Winchester subs and my grouping (this was at 50yds) drew in to about .3 inch

I tried Winny subs when I got the rifle first. They went to the same point of impact as the Eleys but the groups weren't as tight as the Eleys. Also, Eley ammo seems to be more readily available local-ish to me than Winchester. Can't remember if I have, or have tried other subs to be honest :clapper: Once I find something I'm happy with I tend to stick with it, though am always open to new suggestions
