RichardC18 0
leave them alone if you are popping them as they will get infected. put lots of vaseline around the base of them and they should drop off in a few day's. hope this helps Quote Link to post
andy s410c 61
There defientley ticks not her nipples .If they are ticks get to the pet shop/vets & get a proper tick puller you can get a pack of 2(large & small gauge) for £4,ish they work no problem.Tick removal has been discussed on here & there,s other methods of removal but the pullers are what i prefer.... ginger dave 63
Get a tin of cat fleaspray and a cotton bud, soak the bud with the spray and dab on the ticks, I use this method and it works for me, regards DAVE Quote Link to post
askiro 1
ive been told that nail varnish painted on the tick works , but never tried it myself. Quote Link to post
reddog70 236
just a tip mate that works for me if you want your ferret to keep still while you examine it, you can hold it by the sruff of its neck((FIRM)and it should keep still long enough for you to check it over this also works well when cutting there nails and there not moving about..hope you sort the ticks out cheers Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Try this link: Click here! And whatever you're doing, stop popping them. It makes the ticks inject all sorts of nasty stuff back into the bloodstream, including lyme disease in some types of ticks. Quote Link to post

maty j 6
frontline the ferrets regular and you wont have any problems. only use a small amount sprayed onto your hand and rubbed all over the furt as its not licensed to use on ferrets. Quote Link to post
Corky(amateur) 0
I heat up a pair of tweasers and just grip the tick dead gentle. After about 3 seconds, pull getly and they comer out fully, then sqish the basta*d* as they ain't dead yet! Quote Link to post
