Mod and loss of accuracy

Recommended Posts

Right i've been hunting near a few houses lamping for foxy, zeroed the rifle with the mod on, and no problems, but the rifle has lost all accuracy, with the mod on, it's a fairly old T8. one of the first out.

My question is has anybody ever noticed this happen to them. Shooting a three inch group now at 100 yards, when mod is taken off i can put all the bullets into less than a half inch,

And no it's still free floating from the barrel when the mod is on. thinking it may be due to the baffles wearing away or something along those lines.

only noticed after missing a sitter of a fox at 275 yards, should have been hit, side on shot.

So baldie, any info mate or anyone else for that matter.

And how do you find your mod works at long ranges, say over three hundred yards?

it's a head scratcher, looking at the new A-tec, but want the rifle to stay accurate. confidence lost on mod's at the minute......... :wallbash::icon_eek:

i took the weapon to the range after a few questionable shots sounder and the grouping was all over the place, we're talking a few inches here, once the mod was off, less than 1/2 inch, go figure..............it's a head scratcher............its on as normal, barrel still free floating, checked everything i could
