Coney 3
Nice job Fish, the only trouble with doing a good job like that is people will start turning up with rolls of the stuff and asking you "can you set me away & show me what to do first" Ha Ha. Quote Link to post

MR TEA POT 1,287
used the tape but had no problems yet,did my crossbow and bow with it too! I had no probs with it when i had put it on,it looked great, just like yours does. Its only when i came to take it off the probs started,it is a barstool to get of,does not affect the bluing on the barrel but does leave a sticky residue.Which takes hours of rubbing with a oily rag to get it off . If you look through the arigun section you will find my post i did. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Ive just come across this thread. I have been thinking about doing my daystate in the camo tape for a while but dont like the idea of it leaving a load of sticky crap all over my gun if i decide to take it off for whatever reason. However... I came up with a plan... Put a 'base tape' on, maybe masking tape??? I know for a fact this isnt as sticky as i use it all the time at work and peel it off machines after 2 or 3 weeks with no probs. Do you think it would work and should i give it a go??? Thanks Gaz Quote Link to post
fishfish 17
to get the sticky off just get some printers spirit,i think its called isopropalalchohol . Quote Link to post
