Kids today want their entertainment, food and even life in a packet. Those graduates with placement years are, year on year, becoming dimmer, or to be more accurate their education is less balanced and more focused at the detriment of their well being. They don't even know they are being short changed bless em. thats why i refuse to have game consoles in my home, or use my PC as a form of entertainment...... er.. no i dont think the internet is entertaining. just an amazing source of free info.................................... like a giant encyclopedia. i didnt grow up with anything high tech... well i did kinda. my dad bought my brother and me a Nintendo when we were kids. but being the jack ass that he was my brother locked all the games in his bedroom and threatened to beat me up if i even looked at the console. i guess i should thank him for it. since i couldnt sit on my ass playing Castlevania or Mario Brothers i ended up going outside and making friends, teaching our dogs new tricks, and causing other mischief.. my sisters and i used to have all sorts of fun until the adults found out. we used to play in an old pond but when they found out about that they told us never to go there again because someone's dog was bitten by a snake... no i plan to raise my boys as boys should be raised. they'll have their choice of either a dog or a horse for a companion. they'll learn just like i did how to take care of it. and when they are 13 years old we'll buy them a piece of crap broken -but reparable- car. i'm going to tell them if they can get that car working by the time they turn sixteen then i'll take them to get their license. yes i do understand that i'm still young and am probably going to eat those words some day.. but i can still be optimistic!!!
