I believe the native type is protected. shine the lamp in a stream at night and lift a few stones you should find them there. Quote Link to post
kirstysdad 827 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Do we have crayfish in N Ireland? hi dont think their is any signal crays in n ireland as i dont think they have been farmed their but probably got native crays i am originally from portadown and fished the river bann a lot and never came across them but now i live in london and every bit of water is full of signals they make good eating and are ery easy to catch in wire traps just ty with length of rope and peg it to bank put in some dead fish and if your fising for the day just pull trap back in when yor finished Quote Link to post
