runforyourlife 361
In what way? Since when? And why? explain, lol. i had 2 twentys in febuary....... You did very well indeed. I have a number of Scottish friends who rarely fish there now as it is not a shadow of it's former self, I haven't been for a number of years. Still a beautiful place to fish and I'm sure you'll have a good time. Lol, have a good time, i am a guide on there. I have one of my boats moored on there. I have fished on the water for 20years. Your right, it isnt as good as it used to be but you tell me where you can go and catch 40 twentys in a day from the bank. It makes me laugh, i have heard it over and over, guys go on, blank after 2 days and call it crap, especially the scottish, which by the way, i am myself. Take no notice of them go fish it yourself, you'll see it is still very capable.4 30's out of one of the spwaning grounds in a month last season is bad really is it. Just get to know the water, and dont follow the bandwagon. p.s. i blanked for 5 days on loch awe in October, i dont think it doesnt maean its not worth fishing, lol. tight lines.. Russ 40 twenties in a day? Are you serious? That's a ridiculous number to claim from any water anywhere. I'm afraid bandying ludicrous figures like that around isn't doing your credibility any good at all. 40 pike in a day would be a tremendous day but forty twenties is just pure fantasy. Do you have photographs to back these claims up? I'm astonished that you haven't used these statistics to advertise your guiding business as they would make you the most succesful pike angler in the UK. 4 twentys in a day is a daft figure!! The figure was reached bewteen 2 anglers!! ! And yes i have used these fish to publish my guiding. And yes i have photos, in fact i have photos of many 20lb pike from lomond! And if you think that sounds ludicrous, try this pal, 5 20lb+ pike from castle bay on loch AWE in 1 day, bewteen the anglers what was there. I guess you know very little about pike fishing in scotland. Get in a spAWning bay and multiple catches are common! I dont understand your attitude at all buster..... What happened to the other 36? 40-4=36. I know more about Scottish piking than you think buddy, hence the fact I've seen your claims for the inflated nonsense that they are. Care to furnish any details/photographs of the thirties from the spawning ground? No, didn't think so.

I Would think that pretty obvious, there wouldnt be enough minutes in the day to catch so many. Tell me a little about what you know about scottish lochs then. You dont have to be so aggressive and pent up, Tell me about Awe, or tay, of eveen easier waters like ken or maben... I am always willing to learn, maybe you have learned a little of my good old sparing partner gordy burton, lol.... If you are genuine, and thinking of going to lomond, to have a crack at the spawning pike, yes i will give you imfo on the 30's, and where and when they are getting caught. Surely tho, your scottish friends would know, as they come out every year....

I really cannot be bothered to try and prove anything to you.
runforyourlife 361
Good, i only welcomed you onto the site, and asked you were you fished. Then i made a typing error. And you throttled me for it. Why would you question someone about a water who works as a guide there. I would never have dreamed of questioning a fenland angler, no matter how big or small. I have 30yrs of experience on lomond, and more on scotland, it was'nt meant to a row. Chill out next time, lol. You will soon find that there are a lot worse than me on here, especially the antis! And you maybe aware of the spawning grounds on lomond, most pikers are. It was you who asked where and when and prove it kind of thing..... It is easy to gather imfo, the hard part comes in catching the fish, (like you said, lomnd isnt the same these days) so you have to know it a lot more now, to keep up the success and catch rate. cheers
