read your other post. get a lurcher a beddyx grey is a good bet for a ferreting dog.

any dog as long as it is introduced early. no breed contest on this i think. some are bette than others. its something cant be trained i think natural ability.

any dog will mark it is just experience my terrier marked all on her own but that was all she ever chased

years ago someone that was into the good life had a labradoodle. lab/standard poodle.it looked like the sort of shaggy mongrel you see in 70,s pictures.was good marker and worked to nets.i see while ago .there was a breeder advertising on epupz that specialized in this cross but were asking 750pounds :11:definetly priced out of working market.

All my dogs are good markers, but my best dog for marking holes in my Stafford. Followed closely by my Beagle.

My old Gsp bitch Sophie is great at marking occupied burrows and she's part of the team when wer'e ferreting
