ive got a 3/4salukix ghdxracingwhippet looks like a whippet 20"tts 29lbs she should turn out handy, 3/4whippet 1/4 bedi are belting dogs tho.all the best BB

If you wanted something with a good rough coat what blood would you introduce?

I know beddy/whippets can have a coat a bit on the thin side, would crossing a whippet with a wheaton or bearded collie be a good mix?

that way you may get a good coat but they might not be the fastest of rabbit dogs, a good chance that a fair few could be small and heavy, and a bit cloddy, being a first cross out of those two breeds.

i agree with bradder,mines beddi/whipp hes nails on rabbits,like shit of a shovel,will be breeding him with my mates whippet grey cos shes struggling with injuries so he wants to keep a couple of pups,should be ideal hunters in my view,all the best,each to there own,happy hunting

Ive had a beddy whip grey they take some beating good all rounders, with noses that dont miss a trick. Now got a saluki whippet that can run all day and is nailing bunnys like nobodys buisness.

i have a ped whippet and she hammers rabbits and shes not to bad at retriving day time hares at start of the season and shes manges to retrive on the lamp alll year round
