woz 260 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 truchion or baton wanted......must be concealable and heavy....pm's only please dont even bother!!!!!!!! i had one in the glove box of my car,,a search by the john cuelaws revealed this and i was convicted of posesion of an offensive weapon in a public place!! as my car goes on the roads which are public.. its not worth it.better off with a baseball bat and a ball then you cant be done for anything or be percived as to be having something to use against a person. i only wanted the dam thing to dispatch eels off my night lines have been infomed there called priests????? mole catcher 1 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 get yourself down to your local hardman store, you know the type that sells replca guns and samuri swords and ask for an extendable batton, or asp as the police call them. remove the 2 sliding parts so your left with the rubberised handle part. this is heavy enough to deal with rabbits so it will deal with an eel no probs, good thing is you wont get done for having an 8inch piece of rubberise tube in your pocket. mind you, you may get a funny look off plod thinking your carrying a dildo on a walk out Link to post Share on other sites

I used to have one that had been hand made mate. Broom shaft cut to size, about 7-8" with a piece of pipe over the last couple of inches for the weight secured with a screw and washer. Wasn't pretty bu it did the job on trout and any unexpected eel. Link to post Share on other sites

kirstysdad 827 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 make your own all you need s a length of hose and a thick bolt that fits tightly in the end then bang bolt in then put a littl bit of insulation tape around it and cut hose to your own desired length as hoses and bolts come in a variety of sizes should be no problem finding use this design myself Link to post Share on other sites
