With bullxs, they all can catch rabbits[ 1/2x, 3/8x, 1/4x,] My last two were 3/8x and 1/4x, both were 26ins 70 and 75lb. They done well for big dogs on rabbits, but they are not bred for that are they. Why not go for a 1x collie grey or 1x whippet grey, they will catch rabbits easy and pre ban do foxes as well. I love bullxs, but they are better at things than a 3lb rabbit BIRD Quote Link to post
cocker 2,654
hi mate, as the last post says, most will do a rabbit, my bull x is bred like this....hes out of a "1/2 bull 1/2 grey bitch" which was put to a "3/8 bull 5/8 grey"" dog, he is 27inches to the shoulder and 75lbs in weight he does rabbits better than most of the smaller dogs i have had,and retreives them to hand, BUT i would never class him as a rabbit dog, they are more of a good alround hunting dog : Quote Link to post
