Little Butch 16
A bit of a longshot but does anybody have a speargun for sale ? Done a bit of research and apparently a 75cm gun is a good allrounder for a beginner So anything near that would be great Cheers Butch Quote Link to post

Little Butch 16
You bloody well can eat them lol. Alot of people say theyre nasty and taste muddy which is true unless you cook them well. Butch Quote Link to post
Little Butch 16
Well that bit i havent actually found out I spoke to a fisherman who does it for a living and he told me, i'll find out for you though. Butch Quote Link to post
shaun22 0
Are you shooting from air into just a couple of feet of water, or shooting totally underwater? Looks like your shooting from boat or pier. I had a pnuematic one with a high pressure pump which was a useful and powerful tool. The spears had hinged barbs inches long to prevent the fish wriggling off. The elastic powered things from the local seaside shops are quite gutless, only fit for taking smallish fish just under the surface. Think of something like a barnett slingshot Ebay is probably the best bet. Quote Link to post
Little Butch 16
Tbh i think i'd prefer an elastic one ? But would want it powerful just because i like power Im planning on shooting from above the water surface but wouldnt mind having a go at freediving with it. Butch Quote Link to post
