Tyla 3,179
All four of them got out today. The little sods have chewed two staples out of their pen and escaped. Luckily my mate caught three of them almost immediatly but one is still missing. i put out their box with some hay and food in and im waiting for a mate to drop some live catch traps over. i've not lost a ferret since i was at college although not had these ones for long. Anything else i should be doing? Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
Just been out to check the box and have a shine around the gardens but no joy. Looks like a case of doing some posters and waiting to see if she turns up. Still waiting on some cage traps which i will set as soon as they arrive. Quote Link to post
pigeonphill 69
if its a jill you have lost get a hob in a cage low down to the ground or on the ground the jill might be attracted to him as its close to the breeding season if lucky might work good luck Quote Link to post

Shes been sighted in next doors garden but stillnot got her back. My other half has stuck posters all around the village too. Not sure what else i should be doing. i tried getting to dogs to find her but as i have spent ages stopping them showing any interest in the ferts it wasnt successful Edited April 3, 2008 by Tyla Quote Link to post

Apart from what Sue has already said i think inform any local animal shelters, ie: rspca, etc, that you have lost your ferret, and keep asking people, don't give up, my sister in law lost a jill for 3 weeks then found her on top of her hutch one morning Good luck on finding her.
