About a week ago an air rifle was posted as ` for sale ` i pm`d the chap within 30 mins - 1 hour to say i would have it , after a couple of days i still had no reply, but knew he had been on the site .Meanwhile i pm`d somebody else , twice , about a gun that was for sale , only to recieve no reply at all in a week , this person too , i know has had my pm`s . Back to the first, and a posting on the ad thread , and a couple more pm`s , oh, and an e-mail to his msn e-mail , still no reply but he had been on to say one of the air rifles was sold . There was another one i got a couple of mails about with some pics and as i was about to do the deal the guy posted it for more than i was offered it for and said sorry but i am going to sell it and if i dont get more than you are going to pay , you can still have it . So its been a bit of a let down all round , trying to get any response from people on this site . And last night there was a thread about a £700 dog and a person being let down , blah ,blah ,blah , so i decided to throw my 2 pence worth in and say how ive been messed about over guns , then out of the blue i get a pm at about 11ish ` i got a cheap air rifle if you want it ` kinda thing , so i try to get the relevant information , make , model , price and we have a brief chat through pm`s and the result was that i am interested , and ill look up the rifle and get back to you tommorow , cheers . ( went to bed ) So today after being at work , then taking my daughter to her dance class , feeding the dog , doing everything esle thats more important , i pm the guy and say , basically , i need to get a scope for it, and a bag , and probably have it tuned at a cost of probably £60-£70 , but i am interested so can you please send me some pics so i can see the condition of it . woz 260 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 when i first came on hear i was after a dog,nothing special just somthing for rabbiting on the lamp, i spoke to a lad and he agreed to sell me a dog drove bloody miles and he never showed....cant even remember who it was now...the worlds full of tossers and messers so it brings no serprise that there a few on hear....IF THAT LAD THAT LET ME DOWN ON THE DOG IS READING THIS I STILL THINK YOUR A TOSSER!!!!!!! The worse one is when people show loads of intrest and never show up when you arange something and they dont bother letting you know.
