hammondp 0
Hello Everyone As you can see I’m a newbie to the site. Have had two lurchers for the past 13 years haven’t really hunted with them much just caught the old rabbit etc when we came across them. We lost the black one at the start of the year but now have a new girl to replace him. I rekon she is going to be a great hunter. She goes after everything especially the fox that comes in the back garden. Wondering if anyone wouldn't mind me coming along with you more experienced boys, just to see what shes like with more experienced dogs. Learning the lamp etc. If she is any good I‘m hoping to take it up more seriously. I’m based down in the SE Kent. Cheers Paul Quote Link to post

Guest MyDogsAGuire
First off mate they could do with losing abit of weight So cut down abit on the food and more excersise if possible.. Have a look at the condition on some of the dogs on here Best of luck Quote Link to post
Guest MyDogsAGuire
If them dogs were being worked theyd easy have a few pounds off them... Wasnt saying it in a bad way but them dogs would be thinner with alot more muscle on them if being worked properly Edited April 1, 2008 by MyDogsAGuire Quote Link to post

billybruiser 1
Hi lads, great to find a place where peeps are still into running there lurchers my best advise is let the pup hit 12months before you run her! holding back pays off i found, you get a much stronger dog less prone to injury, nice looking dog [bANNED TEXT] Quote Link to post
