Guest whitser
its very easy for a journalist with an agenda to paint any field sport in a bad light. some colourfull langauge can turn a days ferretting in to something barbaric. i agree the lads left the field in shite and that implys they didnt have permission but its all really some anti spin at the end of the day. you only had a comment from an dspca inspector(who more then likely anti hunting) and an article written by a journalist who needs to paint a picture to shock and sensationalise a story so its worth printing. but goes to show these people will use every trick in the book. so dont give them the chance. dev 227
its a disgrace when people dont leave an earth in good shape, its not hard, sometimes tho when tubes are tight a 2nd hole is needed but ,f f s ,tidy up afterwards, Quote Link to post
hunting machine 0
Over theyears I have concluded we're our own worst enemies.I was checking a farm 2 seasons ago and came across a fox den that was dug open 3 times on the same day.i found out who did it from the land owner,he was frothing. But amazingly it was done by a renound terrier man who was years at it.I was more than surprised at his shabby effort to back fill, never mind the fact he had to open 3 times, must be some game terrier .When he returns hes going to get some welcome from the farmer I can tell you.I am blue in the face every season backfilling some other tossers dirty work,it doesnt take long so theres no excuse.LEAVE IT AS YE FIND IT. me n a couple of m8s once turned up 2 do a one holer, had checked it the week earlier definately a charly using it, so we walked down the edge of the field n noticed that there was loads of dirt on top of it, got closer n noticed that it had allready been dug, but not properly, they totally destoyed the earth they dun 1 dig but totally destroyed it, they dug all the way up the pipe 4 bout 7 feet toatally fuked it up, i went absoloutly besurk they didnt even attempted 2 sort it out, was a relaible earth aswell usaually at least 2 digs in it a year but no more Quote Link to post
