dogman 5
Just to let everyone know. My dog didnt make it, he died early hours this morning. The vet phoned to say he wanted to put a camera inside him, as he didnt think he would make it through the night, he thought there maybe a blockage or a rupture. After all the diarrhoea, he was in such a weak state, I think the anaesthetic was too much for him. The vet said he has never seen a dogs intestines looking so bad, he did mention that he had a similar case a few years back and that dog had been poisoned, if that was the case he said whatever treatment they could have tried, the vet said he was 99% positive that he wouldnt have respond to it. but he still said it may have been haemorraghic gastroenteritis, but a severe case. Total vets bill was £796.32p for 3 1/2 days treatment. I am really gutted, just feel so empty I think he was going to make a fine dog Thanks for everyones responses and comments.
