rusty 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Share Posted March 29, 2008 i,ve one permission where hares have remained the same but on another hit and miss if you see any, i put it down to poachers, as i was coming away one time two lads with 3 hare dogs were in the field opposite heading for where i was coming away but changed direction when they saw me. There are not plenty about in the places i listed. I have been walking these areas for 30yrs. I am a self employed man(theres nothing clever about hard work, unless with a shovel) And i walk these moors every day, and i mean every day. If you are from the areas, or round East lancs, you will know the well known hare lads. You will also know they have packed in hare, and moved to terrier work. In fact are there any hares left in Lancs, i know therwes the odd one knocking about, but in general.
