here is a pic of the rescue lurcher i took on , she was found with what is believed to be a very nasty snare injury and almost lost her back foot , well her foot has healed very well , she has pleased me on the lamp and now this is her taken a couple of weeks agao at a lure coursing meeting i attended with my whippet , they let the lurchers go round when testing the course

She is looking great.

Good luck with her. It was good of you to take her on.

My advice is be careful what sort of ground you hunt on, you dont want any more injuries to her. Also getting them out on the pushbike can really build up there fitness after an ordeal like she had.

dad did have a go one day after id been out on the lamp the night before :icon_redface: , told me to take it easy , but you know what us ladies are like when hungry for the hunt!!! :whistling: so far her foot has held up well , the vet who gave her to me lives 10 doors down so free vet help with her lol!!

wont really do anything now til next season now so plenty of time , she is getting let down a bit muscle wise now little r and r does them no harm when young and better for next season , im hoping to do a fair bit next season as i have a few bits of good permission now , she still cant be trusted with the ferrets but more curious than anything

to be honest she has been a pleasure to take on and i did want another bigger lurcher so job done all in a good cause :victory:
