To Fly or Not to Fly

I have a question for y'all.

How do you know when your bird [ from creance training onwards ] is at the weight it should be before you let it fly free?

Please don't "you just know" :wallbash: I need more than that before I watch my wifes' housekeeping fly off to a dot!

Bless you :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

The response from the bird should be, fist up bang its there I dont tend to worry about distance to much but its always nice to see what the response is at say the full length of the creance at 50 + yards before letting the bird go free. As for letting the bird free you just get that gut feeling responding well 10- 20 calls your on a winner.
