Logun Gun Lamps?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I bought a Surefire 6P years ago, i still use it. You can get them really cheaply on the auction sites now along with mounts.

What i like about it is the weight, It weighs nothing and runs off a single small camera type battery. Also the amount of light it puts out is enought for an air rifle.

To get the specs go to www.surefire.com

Good luck and safe shooting

The Logan is the worst lamp you can buy  , but lets put it all into perspective. It is better than nothing, and if you are after CLOSE quarry with a 12ft lb air rifle it is a cheap option, so lets be realistic :thumbs::thumbs: !

As for rabbits going out in the rain..they hate it, just like us, most animals will keep their heads own in the cold, the wet the wind etc. Unfortunately for them though they don't have fridges, freezers and supermarkets so they are forced to go out and forage/eat after a day or two of bad weather!

So you will often find the bunny out in the wet...but not me if I can avoid it!

I have a Logun lamp, use it with my 22 rim. Before you say " Not got the distance" you are right, the beam is limited but I was taking rabbits from 10-50 yard from a landrover window on scrub land and didnt need the power. I have a Deben Tracer Max for longer range so its horses for courses, I tried the Tracer Max on the same scrub land and the rabbits wouldnt sit, too bright for them however the logun has paid for itself just on that piece of land alone.
