Its not very bright only lighting about 35/40m,put the filter on and you might as well get the candle out!. People will say you are only shooting a air rifle so you don't need it that powerful but you can't scan fields to see were the rabbits are!!! If you want a lamp to do everything treat yourself to a clulight (cluson) i've got a large handheld foxing lamp(10 years old no problems) but my friend has a gun mounted lamp which is excellent.You will probadly spend £90 but it'll last a long while. spike 0 Posted March 28, 2008 Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) It can be difficult judging ranges on the lamp, so the Logun may not be a bad start as the beam is not as strong as others (you are unlikely to take shots outside your comfort zone) - just a thought.
