gtomo 4
Oh i get it now mate i would think it depends on how good the lurcher dog that your goin to use is mate Quote Link to post
mush 204
I think some one been saying its better to use a lurcher bitch to a dog from the litter ( casper x greyhound which is a lurcher anyway) rather than using his bitch to a lurcher dog, what ever way its done is not going to mater as a parent puts in only 50% what ever way its done. but what will make a difference is which is the better in the litter and if they can throw their type. shaddow 166
Oh i get it now mate i would think it depends on how good the lurcher dog that your goin to use is mate at some point fresh blood has to be put into the breeding be it saluki or greyhound , as lurcher to lurcher to lurcher to lurcher eventually peaks , then eventually starts to weaken , so fresh blood needs to be introduced to 'clean up ' the lurcher and strengthen the lurcher gene ive used CN CASPER as the sire to a greyhound obviously who herself was an exceptional field bitch for a pure greyhound , so when im ready i will use a dog related to CASPER , but what if use CASPER back over the bitch which will be father x daughter that probly depends on if hes stilkl alive then i suppose as hes getting on a bit , so the next in line would be WOLF , so that would make them half brother/sister mating ??
